NCHRA has nine regional chapters run almost entirely by a volunteer regional board. A great way to build your network and hone your leadership skills, regional board positions vary by chapter but commonly include: Program Chair, Membership Chair, College Relations Chair, Community Relations Chair.
Enhance your career.
NCHRA’s many workshops, seminars and regional chapter meetings scattered throughout the Bay Area couldn’t happen without you. We always need on-site administrators (OSAs) to check-in registrants, introduce speakers and hand out and collect evaluations. In exchange for your commitment, you may attend the course free of charge.
Familiarize yourself with the legislative process.
NCHRA’s Legislative Affairs Committee closely tracks pending California legislation that impacts the HR profession and the employee/employer relationship, and educates fellow members about how pending legislation may affect their businesses.
